Weekend in La Jolla

My weekend was fabulous. Time spent with family and friends, amazing food, laying in the sand on the beach, long walks with gorgeous views, some movie watching, wine drinking, dancing, lots of laughing, and shopping. What more do you need in a weekend? Nothing, that’s what.

So I don’t do a full 3-day recap, which would be one long dragged out post, I will just post some pictures with captions. If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you have probably seen some of these already. Also, I got a new iPhone app (Camera +) that I tested out this weekend so that’s why some of the pictures are really cool coloring and contrast. Here ya have it.

I didn’t take as many pictures as I planned to and didn’t document even half of the things we did, but you guys know that I often forget about my phone/camera when I’m having fun. So that’s all for now but it was an amazing weekend and I got to see some great friends who I miss dearly.

This is a busy week socially. Tonight my friend from LA is staying at my house because she is moving to the area tomorrow and her apartment is getting opened up in the morning (so excited to have her here!). She is arriving in the afternoon and having dinner with my family. Thursday night I have a date (no details for you yet ;) ) in San Francisco with a boy none of you have heard about yet, so that should be fun. Another night this week I will be going to dinner with my bestie Steph, but not sure yet when or where. So most of the nights I will be out and about this week and then hopefully have a more low-key weekend and study a lot for one of my teacher tests next week! Life is pretty great right now. :)

Time to get this day started!

Are you a beach person? When was the last time you went to the beach? Obviously I am a fan, but I think I may love being up in the mountains even more.

What is your favorite meal to enjoy at home with friends? I love pizza, salad, and wine or sushi!
